There are many ways to take advantage of all Teachers Warehouse has to offer. Below are the numerous events taking place this year in support of the Teachers Warehouse mission.
Current Events
Shopping hours for Teachers Warehouse will resume with the 2018-19 Back-to-School Blitz starting on July 23. That week our extended hours will be: Monday-Friday from 2-6pm and Saturday from 9am to Noon.
The last shopping day of the 2017-18 school year was June 7, 2018.
Teachers Warehouse will be open for donations on WEDNESDAYS from June 6-July 25 from 1-4 p.m., with the exception of July
4, 2018.
Also, when shoppers visit, they will see this change:
* We have a new room, dedicated to classroom furnishings.
Participate
Teachers Warehouse is comprised of 8 rooms
First time shoppers need to allow an hour or two to explore all the offerings:
Entry - Student gifts, rewards, and incentives can motivate student learning.
Book Room – Set up your classroom library with 1000s of books from picture books to chapter books, along with activity books, reference books, books for professional development, and posters.
Class Room - Stock up on teaching and learning supplies, such as crayons, pens, pencils, erasers, markers, binders, binder clips, folders, glue sticks . .
* Furniture Room - Supplement or replace classroom furnishings with filing cabinets, lockers, desks, tables, chairs, dry erase boards, and cork boards.
Paper Room - Get things for writing, drawing, and figuring, such as index cards, poster paper, spiral notebooks, composition books, art paper, mailing tubes, construction paper, and envelopes . . .
More Ways to Participate
Math, Science, and Social Studies Room - Science equipment, games, math manipulatives, maps, posters, and books on several subtopics can be found here.
Project Room - Stocked with fabrics, stamps, paints, and stencils, this room is a resource for science fair projects, multi-media presentations, art classes, school plays, and student projects.
Annual Race for Literacy
Run or walk in this 5K race that encircles College Mall, sponsored by Bloomington Rotary in June.
Need a Speaker?
Contact us if you need a speaker for your organization or business. Clubs and organizations can also arrange to host a meeting at the Teachers Warehouse facility and arrange for a tour.
